The bottom half of fol. 69 is excised.
Skrifarar og skrift
Three main hands accur.
The first hand wrote ff. bl. 1r-56v. Another hand, however, wrote the last nine lines on f. 56v.
The second hand wrote ff. 58r-109v.
The third hand wrote the rest of the manuscript (ff. 110r-141v).
Uppruni og ferill
Uppruni
Written in Iceland, c. 1800. It appears as if the manuscript consists of three different, yet contemporary, parts. The first part consists of ff. 1-57. This part sets itself apart from the rest by having a more elaborated layout, its use of catchwords and having no pagination. The second part is comprising ff 58-109 and the third partf ff 110-141. As the last part has both a comtemporaneous pagination and a later pagination; it is reasonable to assume that it was an independent part or the first quires of a larger manuscript.
