The leaf is not well preserved and the vellum has several small holes in it.
Initials occur in red and green.
Bound in a cardboard cover from 1959.
The manuscript is written in Iceland the middle of the fourteenth century (Stefán Karlsson 196728). Kålund's date: The fourteenth century (Katalog I 566 ).
Árni Magnússon got the leaf in 1717 from his cousin, the lawman (sýslumaður) Ormur Daðasson - the mother of Ormur and the father of Árni were sister and brother. On an AM-slip Árni wrote: Þetta blad ur Olafs Helga Sỏgu feck eg 1771. fra Islandi fra Mons Ormi Dadasyni.
