This leaf once belonged to and is presumably all that remains of the codex known as Gullinskinna which was destroyed in the Copenhagen fire of 1728. The text of Gulinskinna is preserved in two copies by Ásgeir Jónsson: AM 42 fol. and AM 80 fol.

The manuscipt is written in double columns with 34 lines per column. There are rubrics in red. The flourished majuscules has the size of 2 lines and occur in varying colours.
The initial is blurred. The outer corners have been cut away, and the cutting of the top corners has included some of the text.
The manuscript is written in a skilled Icelandic gothic bookhand.
Fol. 1r the has the initial N with a male person in half figure within the letter.
Written in Iceland c. 1400 ( Louis-Jensen 1977 30 ). Kålund's date: the end of the fourteenth century (Kålund: Katalog I 562 ).
