Parchment
The text is written in two columns with 23 to 26 lines per column.
The bottom margin of fol. 61v has a verse couplet, known as Skåningestrofenwritten in a contemporary hand: „hauí that skanunga ærliki mææn toco vithar oræt aldrigh æn“. The originally blank fol. 62v contains notes in Danish and Latin.
Historie og herkomst
Written in Denmark. Dated by Kristian Kålund to c. 1300 (Katalog vol. I p. 363), whereas Erik Kroman dated it more precisely to the second half of the thirteenth century (Palæografi p. 52).
Fol. 1r has a sixteenth century note that reads: „ Istud legisterium Est sedis lundensis“. This suggests that the manuscript once belonged to the archbishopric of Lund. Kroman assumes that the manuscript was written in the scriptorium of Lund Cathedral (Palæografi p. 52).
Acquisition unknown.
