The manuscript is written in one column with 19 to 22 lines per page. Rubrics are in red. Initials are also in red and sometimes in green. Running titles partly in red.
On the inside of the front cover an index of contents from the seventeenth century has been pasted.
Other older and younger marginalia occur throughout the manuscript.
The leather-binding is red with clasps.
Historie og herkomst
The manuscript was written in Denmark in the fifteenth century.
The name Niels Pedersen Harboe occurs several times and serves as evidence for the provenance of the manuscript. According to a note on fol. 166v from the seventeenth century, a person named P.V. Lem, who had acquired the manuscript from a farmer, donated it to the uncle of Niels.
There is an inserted AM-slip in Árni Magnússon's hand glued into the front of the manscript that reads: „Fra Sal. Assessor Thormod | Toruesens Enke. | Num. 18.“

The manuscript was photographed in 1988.
The manuscript was lent to The Danish National Archives (Rigsarkivet), Copenhagen, from 11 March 1957 to 13 July 1962, and from 17 July 1970 for use by Erik Kroman.
