On fol. 1r Árni Magnússon added in the top right corner: Med hendi Jóns Gissurs | sonar, referring to fols 1-7. Fol. 8 was later added for Árni Magnússon by one of his scribes.

Árni Magnússon wrote on a slip pasted in the front of the manuscript: ur bok med hendi Jons | Gissur sonar (elldre enn 1646.) | er eg feck af Sr Hgna | Amunda syne. This refers to the first item of AM 202 i fol.
Written in Iceland in the seventeenth century. The two items belonged originally to different manuscripts.
According to the AM-slip, Árni Magnússon got the manuscript to which fols 1-7 originally belonged from sr. Högni Ámundason.
