The manuscript is foliated on the bottom-left corners.
Written in one column with 20 to 27 lines to the page. There are running titles on the top of the pages (except for King Christian III's Coronation Copenhagen Recess, 1547) and indication of chapters in the margin. Initials are in red and blue, rubrics in red.
The manuscript is written in the same hand as AM 6 4o.
There are notes, names and scribblings throughout the manuscript.

Written in Denmark in 1547.
- According to the marginal notes, the manuscript belonged
- in 1557 to Jacob Juell of Rydegaard, born in Haderslev, South Jutland („natus Hadersleuie“, fol. 1r);
- later, to a Jacob Olufsen (fols 26v, 102r and 138v);
- in 1611 to Hans Pederssøn Sten (fols 27r, 92r and 138v);
- in 1612 to Rasmus Pedersen (fol. 138r);
- on 4 August 1612 to Bartholomæus Hagensen (fols 12v, 102v and 138r), the bailiff at Vallø, who gave it to
- Laurids Jensen as a gift on 27 December 1619 (fols 138r and 1r). He in turn gave it to
- the baker's apprentice, Rasmus Nielsen (fol. 3v).
