Foliation

The various items are individually foliated in the top left hand cornes. There is also a consecutive foliation 1-125, ignoring an inserted leaf between fols 46 and 47, in the bottom right hand corners.

Collation

There are catchwords on the verso-sides.

Layout

Written in one column with 21 to 31 lines per page.

Additions

On fol. 47v Árni Magnússon copied the beginning of Gibbons saga, on fol. 81r-v the beginning of — Partalopa saga and on fol. 101 a v the beginning of — Konráðs saga keisarasonar. On fol. 68r is written: “Þeßa Bők a Olafur Jons | son huoria hann hefur sialfur | samann skrifad | Olafur Jons son | med Annars hendi”.

History

Origin

The manuscript was written in Iceland in the seventeenth century. It was originally part of a larger codex also containing AM 109 a III 8vo, AM 118 a 8vo and AM 588 p 4to.

Provenance

Fols 16-23 were once part of AM 146 a 8vo.
