7, fols 1v, 2v, 3v are blank. Fol. 1 which is of parchment has been folded and therefore its real length is 277 mm. The length of fol. 2 is 135 mm. While the first two folios are parchment and from the fourteenth century, the last three paper leaves are from sixteenth century and are written by Árni Magnússon.210 mm x 170 mm

Origin

The manuscript is written in Iceland consist of two parts; One is from the first quarter of the sixteenth century and the other, written by Árni Magnússon himself is from c. 1700

Provenance

4r-v contains a note from Árni Magnússon about the provenance of the parchment leaves 1r-v and 2r-v. “aptan vid Noregs lògbok Magnuff konungs lagabæters, þä sem Þorgeir Hakonar son hefur ritad, og eg feck af Capitain Jul”.
