Binding

The manuscript was formerly bound in a Latin liturgical book with musical notation, written in Iceland in the fifteenth century, now Access 7b, HS 34. Size of the binding: 295 mm x 190 mm x 19 mm.

Accompanying Material

There are two AM-slips, (a) and (b), found in the manuscript informing about possible scribes of the manuscript. Slip (a) reads: “Bryniolfr Einarsson seger, ad þessa | Ragnars Saga se hverki skrifud | af Kolbeine Hannessyne nie Pale (α) | Sveinssyne. Og verd eg þa ad | corrigera þad, sem eg (in registro | qvodam) hefi skrifad um hond-|ena ä Ragnars Sogu og Expli-|catione Sigurdrïfumala i bők | þesse er eg feck fra Þorlake | Þordarsyne; Item Sogubokinne | sem stendr in Bibliotheca Re-|Seniana pag. 259. α] Sr. Gisle Alfsson helldr þő fyr-|er vïst ad þetta sie hond Pals | Sveinssonar.
